As a practitioner are you involved in any of the following modalities?

If the answer to any of the above is ‘yes’, your modality might be seriously under threat by new or developing laws, which are being increasingly harmonised globally.  If you would like to be involved in helping to maintain and develop your chosen modality of healthcare, please read on.

If you don’t live in either Europe or the USA, there is a good chance that restrictive laws, built on the foundations being created by European regulators, will begin to bite in the near future.  Even the traditionally liberal system that was hard won by consumers, practitioners and the natural products industry in 1994, is coming under increasing threat from ‘regulatory convergence’ one of the may prices being paid for globalisation.  Consider studying the some of the issues raging both in Europe and the USA and see how they relate to your part of the world.

Pivotal to dealing with these global threats is the establishment of different forms of evaluation of risk and efficacy, as well as quality assurance.  These are key focuses of the ANH and the acceptance of these methods at a regional and international level will be greatly facilitated by consensus among a diverse range of international, influential players in the natural medicine field.
