We’re sending this missive to you on the eve of World Diabetes Day – and we’re still guessing how the media will handle it. One thing’s for sure, low carb diets are unlikely to be pushed as one of the prime solutions. Some of that’s down the science – it’s not quite as simple as some make out. But there’s also a lot of mischief making that goes on in terms of how the science is conducted and then communicated to the outside world, some of which we reveal in our lead piece. Despite a lot of controversy over what’s really driving the escalating rates of the disease, let’s do what we can to remind ourselves of its preventable and reversible nature, when it’s caught in time.

I’m always blown out when I hear practitioners I really respect saying it’s really helped them with their practice and how to communicate to their patients or clients about how, what and when to eat. What we’ve never done is a video on our guide – but Ellen in our team has made that possible, asking me to do the narration. We hope you find lots of ways of sharing this and helping more and more people to eat better, live longer, have more vitality and in the process, transform their lives.
