ANH-Intl corona update and video

Are you corona’d out yet? If you have space for a little more - especially if you’re interested in filling in gaps that might have been omitted by inter-governmental organisations like the WHO, governments, national health authorities, or the mainstream media, please digest our update piece and video below.

Somewhere along the line we’re going to be getting a clearer idea about answers to two questions that are on a lot of people’s minds:

How many people have already had the virus and were asymptomatic, or never got tested or had their diagnosis registered with a doctor? This has a huge bearing on case rate fatality and how we should prioritise containment and mitigation efforts, and;

Were national lockdowns including the closure of businesses the only feasible options for dealing with the new coronavirus at this stage?

We can all speculate. But one of the things we know for sure is that the human immune system in most instances is doing an incredible job as we adapt to the presence of the new virus. That’s why we thought it fitting to produce a video that explains something about the intricate way our bodies’ immune system is able to handle the new pathogenic arrival. Humans, like all animals, have been involved in the tug-o’-war with viruses and other potentially pathogenic microbes since the dawn of our creation. We’re rather good at it - try and find a drug that works as well (ah, many are trying...)
