Government ‘medicine’ harms us more than the virus

With the airwaves awash with news of the latest vaccines, and Qantas’ decision to only accept vaccinated passengers once vaccines are rolled out, we wanted to given you a reality check. That means looking at some of the most recent data and scientific publications, and not being swayed by total data on deaths or hospitalisations that take in the first wave, that in most parts of the world, is well and truly behind us.

Many of us are finding that people’s belief systems can get in the way of having open and meaningful conversations about what’s going on. Few can doubt just how polarising this issue has become, and this polarisation is harming relationships, families, friendships and even businesses. In that sense we need to find ways of talking to each other – and last week, Mel and I had a 2.5 hour chat with Dr Ro Weerasinghe and his colleague Harminder for their Seekardo Show podcast. They do a lot of personal and business development work and they’re acutely aware of just how difficult many people are finding the current situation. We’ve posted a link to the podcast for you to listen to in full or dip into – we hope it provides substance for meaningful discussions on covid and things related.

The tools of ‘good law’ and ‘good science’ that we decided 18 years ago should form the bedrock of our work to protect natural and sustainable approaches to health, when we set up the ANH, appear to be proving themselves as our most reliable compass as we navigate these very choppy waters.
