Science speak rules
It’s a simple idea: censor and marginalise dissenting voices on the justification that a single narrative will be accepted by the masses regardless – and you’ll end up with exactly what you supposedly didn’t want: mass confusion. Which is why I’d argue that private companies who censor scientific views that don’t concur with the WHO, CDC, NIAID, MHRA or equivalent, and medical boards who banish doctors for not toeing the party line, know exactly what they’re doing, or at least are willing to bend to pressure from people higher up the totem poll.
Which is why it was a pleasure to have 2 hours to share views with a fellow scientist from across the pond, none other than Dr James Lyons-Weiler. You can watch or listen to a cut back version of James and my convo. Both of us were having to bite our tongues at times because James still has a YouTube channel. Let’s hope his voice will continue to be heard by more people as a result.
Our next piece is a big wrap up from our global trawl, bringing you what we think is ‘covinformation’ of interest or concern from around the world. Dive in! But we also have non-covid-related news in our weekly snippets – it might give you a breather if you’re approaching covid fatigue!
Please keep sharing – information is king! Especially during these times when so many are struggling to find ways of navigating the world in which we must now live. It will get better – but that requires we don’t cave to accepting the application of bad science or bad law.
