Crystal balls and crucibles

Much of the content this week reminds me of Sir Isaac Newton's third law of motion that every action has an equal and opposite reaction. It seems you'll likely fare better using a crystal ball than basing key decisions on official numbers and eschewing high tech food for the real deal. To cut to the chase, we’re still trusting in nature, natural immunity and real food.

In our first article, Rob Verkerk employs his crystal ball as he grapples with a lot of other V words - vaccines, variants and vitality, whilst decoding the latest Public Health England numbers. As the UK is in the top 3 of most vaccinated countries, it’s useful data no matter where you live. It also lends weight to that fact that we are likely seeing the effects of immune escape as the vaccinated appear to be creating a variant crucible. In our second article, Rob looks at what can happen when food - something inherently natural - becomes the polar opposite in a lab. It has never been more critical for humanity to realise that not all technology is advancement, neither is lab-grown food necessarily for health - or environmental - benefit. This is not the first time that we’ve set the proverbial cat amongst the pigeons. But before you pounce, please read Rob's article. We are passionate about people, animals and the planet, and, again, we’re with Newton on this one.
